What a splendour : a very old brand mark , a complex yet compact and harmonious monogram to be specific, accompanied by original handcrafted typography, from Hermannstadt (the German name for Sibiu, a charming town from Transylvania).
This is the brand mark of a manufacturer of home appliances from Sibiu, during the 1800s. I’ve fond this logo on an old wine-press hand-crafted by And. Rieger Maschinenfabrik. The person who created this symbol had stunning skills, not only the hand lettering is excellently crafted but also, several complex elements and a beautiful monogram are integrated in one compact symbol. The same level of conceptual complexity delivered within the most harmonious visual solution, I always try to achieve when I receive a logo design brief.
